Care Net of Borger offers free Mentoring Groups to students to provide them with encouragement, wisdom and accountability from mentors. The following are several conditions and limitations upon which the Mentor Groups will be initiated.
Our Staff/Volunteers: Our Mentor Groups do not provide professional medical, psychiatric, psychological, counseling, or social work services. Care Net of Borger staff and volunteers are not necessarily trained or licensed psychotherapists or mental health professionals. Information, opinions, recommendations, advice, or counseling provided are designed to support, not replace, or substitute, the relationship that exists between you and your professional providers. Please consult your own physician, mental health provider, or appropriate health care provider, about the applicability of any opinions or recommendations with respect to your own symptoms, medical or psychiatric conditions.
Our Beliefs: Care Net of Borger is a faith based, non-profit charitable ministry and we believe that the Bible provides thorough guidance and instruction for faith and life. Therefore, our mentoring groups are based on scriptural principles. You are welcome to participate in these groups, even if you do not hold a biblical worldview.
Confidentiality: All information shared by you with Care Net of Borger is kept confidential, except as required by law to be disclosed. The only documentation available to you should you desire it, would be documentation related to your attendance and group information. This information will only be released to third parties upon signed authorization from you. By accepting the terms and attending this free group, you agree to this condition and limitation and will not attempt to access or subpoena any information nor subpoena any staff/volunteer to testify in any proceeding.
No Recording: For the privacy of our participants, staff and volunteers, Care Net of Borger does not consent to any recording, taping, photographing, or videotaping on the premises. Any violation of this policy may result in termination of services and even criminal prosecution.
Termination of Services: At any time during the mentoring group, either the Care Net staff/volunteer or the student may terminate services for whatever reason at their discretion.
